Kids Events

We have many events to bring out the festive spirit of all kids, both young and old! Below, find details for the events that are perfect to engage the youngest generation.

Kids' Midway

New Location! The familiar Santa Cookie Toss game will make a come-back this year, with several other games like a Hidden Grinch Hunt, Snowball Darts, Duck Pool, and Fishing for Nutcrackers. Prizes will be awarded to all kids who are able to beat each game, so be sure to try your hand at them all! We will also have face painting available! You can find the Midway in the Swallow Union Cafeteria from 2:00 to 5:30 pm.

Hidden Grinch Contest

Are you really good at games like "I Spy" or "Scavenger Hunt"? Well then, you'll love this game! We will have a hidden Grinch picture at various events throughout the afternoon. If you are able to find them all, you will win a special prize! Pick up a map at any Jinglefest event and visit each location listed to find the Hidden Grinch to get a special hole punch on your map. If you collect 7 or more special punches, bring your map back to the Midway and you will be given your well-earned prize!

Santa's Arrival

Be sure you find your way to the Swallow Union School because Santa will be arriving in style to the Drop-off area at 4:30 pm!

Kids' Facepainting

Come down to the Swallow Union Cafeteria between 2:00 and 5:30 pm to have your face painted by a talented group of artists from Groton Dunstable High School who are members of the National Art Honor Society!

New Location! Come to the Swallow Union Cafeteria and decorate your own yummy cookie to take home (and the recipe too)! The cookies, frosting, and decorations will be provided and you can learn how to decorate a cookie from Amanda, the professional baker from Short and Sweet Bakery in Tyngsboro. Click on the appropriate button above to reserve your preferred timeslot. Please arrive slightly before your starting time, as unfilled spaces will go to walk-ins or those on the waitlist. A MASSIVE THANK YOU to West Auto of Dunstable for sponsoring this event so it can be free for participants! Timeslots are available from 2:30-4:30 pm.

Karaoke Stage

On your way down to the Midway, get out of your comfort zone, don your inner diva, and participate in our first ever Karaoke stage featuring holiday songs! The stage will be active outside the front entrance of the Swallow Union School from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM.

Photo Ops

Do you need a festive family photo for your holiday cards? What about a funny picture to share on your socials? Well, come to the Holiday Cut-outs in the Kid's Midway or the Festive Archway at the front of the church to get that perfect pic!

Calling all art lovers! Hey kids, want to have your artwork displayed to show off to all your friends, family, and neighbors? Well, we want to see how creative you can be! We will have your holiday themed artwork up on the walls of the Fellowship Hall of The Dunstable Church. Be sure to tell everyone you know to go check out your masterpiece! Need some inspiration? Click the link above for some pre-designed coloring pages! Feel free to email us with any questions.

Kids Craft Time

Is there a line to take a picture with Santa? Or did you want to take a breather before trying more meatballs? To fill the time, head to the downstairs hallway of the church (across from the preschool) to decorate a stocking to take home.

Photos with Santa

Santa Claus is coming to town - our town! Santa will be taking time out of his busy schedule to come listen to what you want for Christmas and let you take a photo or two with him. He will be downstairs in the Fellowship Hall from 4:30-6:00 pm. If there is a line, be sure to go make a craft while you wait for your turn!

S'mores Station

Is there anything better than a freshly made S'more around a campfire with friends? Either while waiting for or after going on a trip through the Journey to Bethlehem, you can make yourself this delicious treat for free at the S'mores station near the entrance to the Journey with the Boy Scout campfire experts manning the flames.
